The Jewish community of Mantua is one of the oldest and most important in Italy and it is still possible to discover with a specialized guide the last traces left. Unfortunately, today only one of the six large synagogues remained that were in the area of the old ghetto. The community was so large and rich in the jewish first settlement that built 12 synagogues.
The visit begins at the Jewish Cemetery, located outside the city and then transfer to the city center for the beautiful Norsa Temple.
The visit will end with the walk in the area of the former Ghetto, giving attention to the buildings that survived to the XX century modern architectural changes.
